I've decided to expand my artistic practice and have ended up with Fred the Alabaster Stone.

Fred is sitting on my porch waiting for me to meditate and connect on what his tuxedo might be. Obviously it is a conversation, not a dictation.

The beginning of stone sculpture! First lesson tomorrow.

Below is dry Fred. And wet Fred.

My wrists are messed up from my skateboarding days and i’m surprised to find that swinging a hammer at Fred makes them feel pretty darn good. Always with the straight wrist!

Forearms are a whole different story. After my last Fred session I could barely pick up water. Popeye arms here we come!

Today’s session:

Fred is messy.

And I will have a fat knuckle from hitting myself with a mallet because my arms are tired.

I had surgery about a month ago so didn’t spent much time with Fred other than the distant ogles.

Got back to it yesterday. Here's partially dry Fred with some shells and pebbles from todays beach walk.
